Job Title: Customer Service Administrator
Department: UK Customer Service
Reporting to: Directly: Team Leader; Indirectly: Director of UK Customer Relations
Location: Enesco Limited Head Office, Kingstown, Carlisle
Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

This is an opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our team and work within our award winning Customer Services Department. Previous customer service experience would be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate must have a high level of communication skills and be comfortable communicating by telephone. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate good keyboard skills (including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel), self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a small team.

Purpose of role
To provide a comprehensive customer service to the retailers in the UK. To work as part of a team, ensuring that the work is accurate and dealt with efficiently, in order that goods are despatched within the specified time period.

Main duties

  • To update and maintain customer records
  • Input and check orders
  • Enter new accounts
  • Respond to telephone calls, letters, e-mails and faxes from retailers and their customers
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Liaise with other departments
  • Amend and cancel orders
  • Check daily reports
  • Enter credits
  • To be aware of customers who have credit problems and to alert Credit Control Section.
  • To ensure carriage charge is applied to orders where appropriate.
