Job Title: Customer Service Administrator Department: UK Customer Service Reporting to: Directly: Team Leader; Indirectly: Director of UK Customer Relations Location: Enesco Limited Head Office, Kingstown, Carlisle Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
This is an opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our team and work within our award winning Customer Services Department. Previous customer service experience would be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate must have a high level of communication skills and be comfortable communicating by telephone. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate good keyboard skills (including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel), self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a small team.
Purpose of role
To provide a comprehensive customer service to the retailers in the UK. To work as part of a team, ensuring that the work is accurate and dealt with efficiently, in order that goods are despatched within the specified time period.
Main duties
To update and maintain customer records
Input and check orders
Enter new accounts
Respond to telephone calls, letters, e-mails and faxes from retailers and their customers
Sort and distribute mail
Liaise with other departments
Amend and cancel orders
Check daily reports
Enter credits
To be aware of customers who have credit problems and to alert Credit Control Section.
To ensure carriage charge is applied to orders where appropriate.
