Job title: Temporary Picker/Packer

Location: Enesco Limited Head Office, Kingstown, Carlisle

Positions are available on both our Swing Shift (permanent part-time) and Back Shift (temporary full-time). No formal qualifications are required, as full training will be given.

Hours of work
Full-time Back Shift hours:
Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm–10:00pm
Friday: 12.45pm–6:15pm

Part-time Swing Shift hours:
Monday to Thursday: 5:00pm–10:00pm
Friday: 1:15pm–6:15pm

Alternative hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm–10:00pm

Main duties

• To accurately pick product from shelves or boxes using the picking ticket supplied
• To pack picked items into transit cartons, using packaging and filling materials as supplied, to insure the integrity and safety of the product during transit
• To accurately confirm goods
• To place packed transit cartons onto the conveyor or onto pallets as required
• To carry out accurate stock checks as requested from time to time
• To ensure that the warehouse and packing areas are maintained in a tidy condition, so as not to cause a safety risk and to ensure that colleagues are not indisposed or delayed in their work
