A taste of afternoon tea in time for summer as Enesco announces launch of Flower Fairies™ cake stands

Just in time for afternoon tea on the lawn, Enesco has announced the launch of brand new Flower Fairies cake stands, ready for the summer season.

A fine addition to any afternoon tea table, the Candytuft Cake Stand makes a beautiful centre piece for scones, cakes and other sweet treats. Standing 25.0cm tall, the two-tiered cake stand is presented in a delightful dusky pink shade featuring grey-toned hand-drawn fairies hugging their knees whilst sitting on a bed of flowers.

Brightening up the quintessentially English tradition is the Gorse Cake Stand. Like the Candytuft Cake Stand, the item also stands tall at 25.0cm. Presented in a zesty summertime yellow shade, the two-tiered cake stand features two fairies sharing a loving kiss amongst the flower beds. Again, depicted in different grey tones, these lovable characters are taken from Mary Cecily Barker’s hand-drawn illustrations.

Both the Candytuft Cake Stand and the Gorse Cake Stand are available to buy from Enesco with an SRP of £18.00. A beautiful gift or collector’s item, these products are expected to quite literally fly off the shelves.

To complement the cake stands, matching figurines are also available to purchase. The Candytuft Figurine is 14.0cm tall and sees the sweet fairy hand-painted in pink; sitting on a beautiful bed of blush-toned flowers. Similarly, the Gorse Figurine sees to the two fairies depicted on the cake stand about to steal a kiss. Standing 24.0cm tall, this figurine features a girl and a boy fairy dressed in yellow toned outfits with wings aflutter, leaning in over a flower to pinch a peck on the lips.
