Enesco presents new Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory collection from Jim Shore
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men – and so Enesco is delighted to present a brand-new licensed collection from legendary artist Jim Shore – exploring the world of pure imagination through the eyes of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
In this brand-new Jim Shore Designs collection, fans of Willy Wonka and his world of pure imagination will be able to get their chocolate-covered-fingers on iconic characters and scenic depictions of the story as they’ve never seen before.
With nine new pieces in the collection, including character figurines such as Willy Wonka with his cane, the Oompa Loompas, Violet blowing up like a big ball of gum, a stacked figurine and mini figurines showcasing Mr. Wonka’s hat stuffed full to the brim with chocolates, sweets and lollipops galore, there is something for all fans of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Sure to be a sweet sensation in the new collection is the Willy Wonka Waterball. Standing at about 17.5 cm tall, the waterball encases a scene whereby Willy Wonka is walking through the land of candy with a little Oompa Loompa, with the chocolate river intricately carved into the base of the waterball, using patterns and motifs inspired by American folk art in a style that has become synonymous with Jim Shore’s work.
Another hit is set to be Willy Wonka with Rotating Chocolate Bar. Standing at about 17.5 cm tall, the figurine depicts Mr. Wonka with a chocolate bar in his hand. Using a rotating mechanism, customers can turn the chocolate bar to reveal the other side of the sweet treat and find that they have been the lucky winner of a golden ticket.
Finally, the hero of the whole collection is the Willy Wonka Diorama Figurine. Standing at about 21.5 cm tall, this figurine captures the scene where Mr. Wonka greets the lucky winners of his golden tickets, allowing them to take a tour of his chocolate factory, including Charlie Bucket and Grandpa Joe.
