Enesco completes the family picture as it announces New Pet Figurines from Willow Tree®

In response to customer requests, Enesco announces new pet figurines joining the Willow Tree® family.

Over the past eighteen years, enthusiasts of this unique range of expressive sculptures have shared stories and emailed requests to Willow Tree on a daily basis. The number one items asked for are figurines that reflect their family. Of course, pets are an integral part of family life. So, Enesco representing a nation of animal lovers, is only too pleased to introduce the latest additions to the Willow Tree range.

Standing at 8.5cm tall, Love my Dog depicts man’s best friend. Retailing with an SRP of £15.00, the hand-carved and painted figurine of a dog is available to buy in both an oak shade (light) or black tone (dark), allowing customers to customise their family grouping with this and other figurines from the collection.

Equally, Love my Cat, allows customers to have their feline friends join the family grouping of figurines. Measuring 7.5cm tall, with an SRP of £9.95, the figure is also hand-carved and painted, and available in a light grey colour.

As with all Willow Tree, artist Susan Lordi hand carves the original figure in her studio in Kansas City, Missouri. Pieces are then cast from her original carving, capturing her knife marks exactly. Figures communicate expression through gesture only. A simple tilt of the head or placement of hands allows the sculptures to speak in quiet ways.

The new additions to the Willow Tree collection are available to purchase from Enesco, and are sure to become a favourite, completing the family picture in a beautifully elegant and expressive way.
