Enesco launches a new figurine in the Willow Tree® collection to help give the gift of surprise

Contemporary gift-giving company, Enesco, has unveiled a new figurine joining the Willow Tree® range, one that is sure to be a popular floral, ideal year-round for many gift-giving occasions.

In artist Susan Lordi’s signature style, Surprise is a female figurine holding a bouquet of purple tulips with green foliage wrapped in brown paper. According to Susan, the significance of the flower is that when tulips are in bloom, they’re a delightful surprise. A harbinger of spring, of longer days, sunshine, outdoor activity, new beginnings and refreshing changes.

Like all Willow Tree figurines, artist Susan Lordi carves the original figure from her studio in Kansas City, Missouri. Pieces are then cast from her original carvings and individually painted. The hand-carved forms reveal their expressions through body gestures only… a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. Emotions and feelings are left to the viewer to discern, which makes them very personal, yet universal.

Standing at 14.0cm tall and with a SRP of £21.00, Surprise is sure to live up to its name and evoke wonderful feelings of happiness and joy, thanks to its elegance and timeless design. Surprise along with other items in the Willow Tree collection are available to buy via: www.enesco.co.uk.
