Enesco launches new collectable concept with Peter Rabbit™ ‘Mug of the Year’

Contemporary gift and homeware retailer, Enesco, is proud to present a new and exciting concept to its licensed Beatrix Potter collection, through its exclusive ‘Mug of the Year’.

Kick-starting this concept with none other than Peter Rabbit himself, the idea behind the product offering is that on an annual basis, the featured character on the Mug of Year will change to showcase a new original piece of artwork taken from author Beatrix Potter’s much-loved classic children’s tales, making the Mug of the Year a highly sought-after and super collectable piece with your customers.

The Mug of the Year for 2019 shows everyone’s favourite bob-tailed bunny - Peter Rabbit - wearing his iconic blue jacket. The bone china mug is rimmed with gold leaf, with the same special feature highlighted throughout other elements of the design on the flowers surrounding Peter Rabbit.

On the inside rim of the mug are all the different characters from the Peter Rabbit collection. In this circle of literary characters, Peter Rabbit is presented in gold leaf, and as more characters star on each Mug of the Year, their depictions on the inside of the mug will also change to gold leaf, denoting that they are the mug of the year.

A brand new collectable initiative, the mugs measure 9.5cm, are presented in a window box with ribbon detailing, and retail with a SRP of £15.00. The Mug of the Year along with other licensed Beatrix Potter gifts, homeware items and plushes are available to buy from www.enesco.co.uk.
