Enesco unveils additions into its Dr. Seuss by Jim Shore collection

Taking inspiration from the 1960 children’s story, Green Eggs and Ham, the figurine is a celebration of the book’s 60th anniversary. It stands at 13.0cm tall and is set to be a must-have piece of the collection, depicting the iconic Sam-I-Am with human-like qualities serving up a platter of green eggs and ham.

Full of fun and frivolity, this iconic illustration from Dr. Seuss’ children’s book has been beautifully sculpted from stone resin and showcases Sam-I-Am with impeccable detailing, as if suddenly brought to life from the pages of the book. Hand-painted in vibrant colours, intricate quilting patterns synonymous with Jim Shore’s style.

As with all of Jim’s work, the figurine reveals his artistry and skill, not only in capturing the qualities of the character he sculpts, but also enhancing them with his own unique American folk art-inspired way, through his attention to detail and hand-painted finishes.

The Green Eggs and Ham figurine is presented in a branded box and retails with an SRP of £39.95. The figurine along with other items from the Dr. Seuss by Jim Shore collection is available to order via: www.enesco.co.uk.
