GUND expands pusheen mermaid collection for summer 2017
With the mermaid craze in full swing for summer, Pusheen fans across the UK now have brand-new options to own Pusheen as one of the fanciful sea creatures. Pusheen, a social media sensation with over nine and a half million fans on Facebook and 14 million daily shares of her digital sticker collection, began as a web comic and delights fans around the world with her quirky adventures. Building on the best-selling Pusheen Mermaid, featuring the cat lying on her side with pink and green scales for her tail and a sweet yellow starfish tucked behind her ear, GUND — America’s most prestigious soft toy company and the only official global licensee of Pusheen plush — has expanded its collection to feature Pusheen mermaids in a number of other different colors, as well as introducing her little sister Stormy to the collection, for Summer 2017.
The new additions feature the adorable cat in the same pose as the original Pusheen Mermaid and are slightly weighted, allowing the plush soft toy to stand independently. For the new Pusheen Mermaid Clam Shell, Pusheen is seen wearing a light green and soft lilac tail and has a pink clam shell adorning her head. Pusheen Mermaid Spiral Shell features Pusheen wearing a tail made from beautiful baby pink and purple scales with a green spiral-shaped shell over her right ear. Both measure approximately 10.0 cm.
Completing the new line-up is Pusheen’s sidekick and little sister, Stormy. Lying in the same pose as her big sister, Stormy Mermaid is slightly smaller than Pusheen Mermaids at approximately 7.5 cm and wears a sweet little mermaid tail of soft yellow and baby pink scales. Her fluffy face and smiling expression make her a special addition to any Pusheen super fan’s collection.
